Welcome welcome,

I am Laura Drummond, a twenty-something from little old New Zealand. I live with my partner, our chihuahua Penny and our two cats (Pip and Jed).

 For a career I do two different things; I am studying part time at the University of Victoria in Wellington, double majoring in Classics and History while also working part time as a Blended Insurance Rep for a life insurance company. 

I am a lover of many things, to list just a few; I love books (I'm a massive nerd), Chocolate, Cozy nights, baggy clothes, Dogs and cats and pretty much any animals (I want to get Guinea pigs, chickens and goats haha), I love to write (hence why I am starting this blog), I love thoughtful conversations, I love connecting with people, I love research (I don't like ignorant people/ being an ignorant person), I love cheese even though I can't eat it, I love going for walks, Being outside, Going to the gym, Spending too much time and money at the local market and health food store, I love authenticity, creativity and most importantly books..... wait I already mentioned that. But in all seriousness I LOVE BOOKS- They take you to a completely new place and allow you to travel the world and back in time without having to even leave your bed!

This blog is my kind of curated brain dump. I'll be sharing my experiences in life, Talking and documenting the things I love and just generally expressing my creative self because in all honesty, I can't draw at all even if I wanted too.

As well as my Instagram where I try and take nice photos and write appropriate captions for them. (The most difficult part about posting a photo!)
